ABOUT
FILM & TV EDITOR
I’m a London-based film and television editor, trained at the National Film and Television School, which means I’ve spent a slightly unreasonable amount of my life thinking about where to make a cut.
Since graduating, I’ve worked across independent shorts, television series and feature films, collaborating with directors, editors, producers and post-production teams. I’m comfortable in a small room with a director, in a larger post-production machine, or anywhere else where someone eventually asks, “Can we just try one more version?”
Alongside my editorial work on larger productions, I’m establishing myself as a lead editor, working closely with filmmakers on short films and independent projects. I particularly enjoy the mysterious part of editing where you watch a scene for the fifteenth time and realise it isn’t actually about the thing everyone thought it was about.
Films I’ve worked on have screened at Cannes Film Festival (Sister Midnight), BFI London Film Festival (Sister Midnight), Venice Film Festival (Nezouh), Aesthetica Film Festival (Sento) and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (Sento), among others.
I’m drawn to character-led stories, distinctive voices and films willing to take creative or formal risks. I like finding the emotional rhythm of a piece — working out what a scene is really doing, where to stay, when to leave, and when the best cut is no cut at all.
I speak English, German and Polish fluently, and can work internationally. I’m looking to build long-term creative relationships with directors and producers making ambitious, distinctive work — particularly people who like questioning the script, the edit, and occasionally reality itself.
